Qualification & Eligibility
For diploma or graduate courses minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 pass and for postgraduate minimum qualification is graduation. Some institutes do conduct entrance tests for admission in the various courses of Interior Design. The eligibility prescribed by this institute is 10+2 with Science. There is also a number of private institutes which offer certificate courses in Interior Designing and the minimum qualification & eligibility is a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC). A 5 year professional programme in Interior Designing is being offered in the School of Interior Design in the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) in Ahmedabad (Gujarat -NDIA).
Programme Duration
Interior Designing is one of the most booming careers at present in the world’s fashion industry. To achieve goal in the interior designing there are different courses i.e certificate, diploma, graduate and postgraduate diploma . For diploma or graduate courses the programme duration is generally 4 years whereas for postgraduate the programme duration is generally 2 years. Several certificate courses are also offered by private institutes in this field and the programme duration varies from 6 months to 1 year depending upon the type of course.

After some experience one can earn very easily Rs 35,000 to Rs 60,000 per month excluding other benefits (depending on organization to organization).
